Jumu'ah Prayer
Friday congregational prayer welcoming around 150 worshippers each week across two separate halls.
A permanent home for the Indonesian Muslim community of Western Sydney — where we can gather, learn, worship, and grow together for generations to come.
Room to grow, together — where our community will gather, built on hope and hard work.
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
We chose Mount Druitt on purpose. Renting a space at 4 Mount Street was part of our dakwah — our commitment to serve and bring together the Indonesian Muslim community in Western Sydney.
From those humble beginnings, a simple intention took root: to build a lasting home where our community could gather, learn, worship, and grow together for generations to come.
This is not our first attempt. Over the years, we searched and prayed for a place to call our own — approaching property after property, each one carrying our hopes.
Each time, we were held back by the same barrier — the funds simply were not there yet. Doors closed, and we returned to our rented room, disappointed but never defeated. Every setback taught us something and brought us closer.
Today, by the grace of Allah, we stand nearer than ever before.
Central for Islamic Dakwah and Education Ltd (CIDE) is established in Sydney — a registered Australian charity serving the Indonesian Muslim community.
CIDE helped establish important religious infrastructure, including Al-Hijrah — known as the first Indonesian mosque in Sydney.
Launched to serve the growing Indonesian Muslim population in Western Sydney through structured Islamic education and family-centred programs.
Now a thriving centre for connection, belonging, and shared identity — and ready for a permanent home of its own.
After nearly eight years operating from rented premises, CIDE Academy has reached a critical stage of growth — demand has expanded well beyond what the current site can sustainably support.
More than a learning centre — a trusted place where Indonesian Muslim families come together for classes, worship, family programs, and support.

Structured Qur'an learning for children, currently serving around 100 enrolled young students.
Qur'an memorisation supporting approximately 30 students on their hifz journey.
Family-centred gatherings and community support that build belonging and shared identity.
Regular study circles and women's gatherings nurturing knowledge, faith, and community.
Around eight major programs each year, from the celebration of Islamic holy days to community-wide events.
After years of searching, we stand nearer than ever to a freestanding, strategically located home with room to grow a true community centre.
